About Us

Columbia Junior High School opened its doors in the Fall of 2003 with approximately 580 students. We are located in the Puyallup River valley, about a 1/2 mile from Fife High School. We have grades eight and nine. Our staff is highly experienced, averaging 15 years of experience in education.

Our athletic teams compete in the South Puget Sound Jr. High League.

Our school features a state of the art, 410 seat Performing Arts Center.

Aside from our excellent core academic offerings, Columbia features many elective classes in music, technology, foreign language, and communications.
