Great job, Boys Cougar Track and Field!  We were led by some great performances including wins by Tom Jensen in the 75 hurdles, Paul Madden in the shot, as well as Joe Kelly’s great performance winning the 100.  Lance Kyles ran a solid 400 for second place.  And Ross Rowinski as well has a strong meet placing second in high jump, third in the long jump.  The highlight was certainly the 4 x 100 relay with a blazing time for the first meet.  Members included Brad Finlayson, Ross Rowinski, Lance Kyles, and Joe Kelly.  On the JV side, Ian Miller dominated the 200 hurdles as well as placed second in the shot put.  Way to go team! 

 

The Varsity Girl’s team was not to be outdone.  Pam Zuerlin won the 75 hurdles, was second in the 200 hurdles, and third in the 100.  Jessica Craybill had solid performances in the high jump as well as the 400.  Amber Swayze also started off the year right with a second place in the 200 as well as a valuable member of the 4 x 200 meter relay.  In JV action, Shannon Vogel ran a great 400, Rachel King in the shot put and Kelli Breland ran a strong 800.  Good work, ladies!

Great meet, Cougars!  Fabulous performances were put in by Joel Carillo winning the 1600 and 800.  Brad Finlayson won the shot put and was a member of the relays. Solid second place performances included Tom Jensen in the 75 and 200 hurdles, Joe Kelly in the 200, and Ross Rowinski in the high jump.  Way to go, gentlemen.

 

Varsity girls soundly defeated Bethel 73 to 45.  Nichole McEachron won the 1600 and 800.  Jessica Craybill was victorious in the high jump as well as the 400.  Amber Swayze ran a blazing 200 meters for a season best time.  Lateah Holmes ran strong legs in the relay and was champion in the long jump.  Pam Zurlien was also tough winning the 100, and the 200 hurdles.  Great work, women!

Great Job yesterday, Columbia track and field.  Fabulous performances from Brad Finlayson in the shot put, Joel Carrillo in ground breaking times in the 1600 as well as 800.  Joe Kelly had a great day anchoring the 4 x 100 relay, 200, and 100.  Ross Rowinski as well ran great in the 200 meters as well as in high jump.  Great effort boys!  On the girl’s side, Nichole McEachron had solid performances in the 1600 and 800.  Lateah Holmes won the high jump, Sam Baker won the 200 hurdles, Pam Zuerlin had solid performances in both hurdles races, Shelise Knight was second in the shot put and Jessica Craybill was second in the high jump.  Way to go ladies!  Next week is our final regular season meet.  Keep up the hard work, team
