CJH Participates in National Red Ribbon Week Red Ribbon Week is the most widely recognized drug prevention week in the nation. It honors Drug and Alcohol Enforcement Agent Enrique Camarena. Agent Camarena had a passion and desire for keeping America free from the influences of drug lords across our borders. He was killed in action on March 5th, 1985. After Agent Camarena’s death, hundreds of students at the high school he attended wore red ribbons and pledged to lead a drug-free life to honor the sacrifices he and others make on behalf of all Americans.
The CJH PAWS Prevention Team will host lunchtime activities, paw pledges and provide free Care Grams in honor of Red Ribbon Week.
