CJH Honors America's Veterans

2008

Columbia Junior High School held its annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 7, 2008.  The assembly featured CJH students in choir, band, and reading personal poetry about America's veterans.  The student body was simply magnificent in their maturity and respect for those presenting and veterans.  Special thank you to Mr. Kelsey, our bands and choir, Brianna Bussey, Nathan Turner, Cody Kallinen, and Jessica McDowell.  These students all read original works in front of 600 people.  This takes a special brand of respect and courage!  Thank you to our ASB President Andrew Kang for his beautiful playing of Taps.
