2008 World Studies Trade Summit

The CJH 9th Grade World Studies classes hosted their annual Trade Summit. Each group produced a presentation including a brochure and tri-fold display. The work was fantastic. The classes included Mr. Stevens and Mr. Storholt's World Studies students. Well done, one and all!

History – A brief summary of the historical development of the country.

People – Ethnic diversity, religion, life expectancy, spoken languages, education and population.

Politics – Type of government, how politicians/rulers are elected and organization memberships.

Economy – GDP (Gross Domestic Product), industries (types of jobs) , monetary unit (money), major imports/exports, resources (natural/renewable/non-renewable)

Geography – Physical features, climate, major water bodies, tourist locations.
