CJH Students Participate in District WOW Academies with Teachers

On February 11th, CJH invited two 9th grade students, Evan Emrick and Andrea Adam, to participate in the first day of a District WOW Academy.  The students were working with four CJH math teachers, Mr. Dodge, Mrs. Bradley, Ms. Moser, and Mr. Gause, and were fully involved in the first design steps, describing student likes/dislikes, traits, motivations, and personal elements in math.  Their input was invaluable. In fact, the students were asked to join the CJH/FHS Language Arts team to help with their work. This team consisted of Mr. Hockman, Mrs. Choate-Deeds, and Mr. Scheidt from CJH, and Mrs. Hockman and Mrs. Ritchie from FHS. Congratulations and thank you to our two wonderful students for your thoughts and feedback, our outstanding educators for giving this experiment a try, and Miss Elaine Smith for her tremendous leadership and guidance during this work.
