The USC Shoah Foundation Institute Visual History Collection, Columbia Junior High School

Columbia Junior High School has applied for and become a holder of testimony from the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education. We have received the recorded interviews of two Holocaust survivors. The testimonies are from Mr. Thomas Blatt and Mr. Peter Metzelaar. Mr. Blatt has had a long relationship with the Fife School District, speaking at Surprise Lake Middle School and Columbia Junior High School beginning in approximately 1990. Mr. Metzelaar spoke at Columbia Junior High School first in 2007.

The testimony will be made available for viewing and research through the CJH library soon.
