Living in the Northwest
During the last school the science department successfully applied for a grant from the HP company. As part of the grant requirements, we are going to do a series of activies based on the concept of "Living in the Northwest". These activites will be based around the idea of scientific inquiry and will also involve students participating in discussion work with each other. Much of what we will be online, using the FSD portal. The culminating activity will involve the students presenting their findings to the community and visiting scientists. The work will compliment the work we do in our regular class activites. We do, however, part of the requirements of the grant states that we must submit to the HP company pictures of students working on the activities the grant provides for, I need you to complete the photo wavier forms that will allow us to photograph students at work. If you are unwilling to let us do this, please complete the wavier and clearly state that you DO NOT want your stduents to participate.
