Assignment (Due Friday 12/14)
Write a newspaper article about the possible effects of global warming. Make sure you make it clear in your article that these are only possible scenarios not certainties. Do not copy information from the book!! Use 2 additional resources when writing your article. Write a paragraph for each for each of the following possibilities:
- Changes in rainfall patterns
- Increase in extreme events
- Changes in sea level
- Changes in ocean currents
- Changes in agriculture

- Using your observations from yesterday, Restate your hypothesis, was it correct or incorrect, summarize what you observed and discuss what surprised you about the lab.
- Using the procedures from the "melting ice" lab, conduct a second lab using salt water instead of fresh water. (10 mL of salt, fill glass half way, stir to dissolve salt, add ice cubes, then fill glass until it almost overflows, watch for 30 minutes, record observations)
