  Identification Resources

Cody taking a picture of pond vegetation in order to identify and catalog it in his photo journal.

After taking photos of several ducks living in the pond, Dylan takes notes on their behavior.  Later he will identify and catalog them in his photo journal.

Jolene photographing a horse tail fern.  Back in the classroom, she will catalog it in her photo journal, later identifing if it is a "friendly" or "invasive" speicies.

Karissa holds a branch of a small tree so Jolene can take a picture of the leaves in order to identify and catolog the tree in her photo journal.

Kara taking a picture of a tree at the pond.  In her photo journal, she will describe its approximate hieght, loss of leaves, and location in regards to the pond.  Later she will identify its possible purpose in relation to the pond's ecology.

Karissa taking a picture of a small tree's leaves.  Later she will add the photo to her photo journal where she will identify its common name, as well as its scientific name.
