ENGLISH 9 BOOK REPORT #2

2008-09 School Year

The current book report requires students to read a novel in the genres of war or historical fiction, then summarize the book in the form of an illustrated timeline.

The summary must be a clear, well-written explanation of the events of the novel. It must then be presented on a poster, divided into 25-30 parts, with an illustration acccompanying each part.

There is a great deal of room for creative expression on this assignment.

Shown here are a few samples of exemplary work done by students in past years.
