8th Grade - Collected Syllabus & Expectations, Parent Survey, and Student Release form.  Passed back first day assignment responses with feedback questions.  Students answered questions w/ red pen.  Read short story "The Path Through the Cemetery."  ASSIGNMENT:  Path Through the Cemetery - Cartoon Theme prompt.  Response to this assignment was ticket out of class today.  HOMEWORK - return paperwork you need to get signed from parents.
