Students have the syllabus for this class. We will be learning the 50 states and capitals and be able to place them on a blank map. We will learn them as they came into the Union. A couple fun websites to go to to learn the states is http://www.sheppardsoftware.com. and http://bensguide.gpo.gov
Students will also be learning the Preamble to our Constitution. I have written it below in two areas.
We have now finished our tests on States and Caps as well as the Preamble.
We are working on notes for chapters 17-20. The students were given a study guide for the final. The final is 6/12 for 4th period and 6/15 for 3rd per.
Here is the Preamble.
"We the people of the United States in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Students have the syllabus for this class.
Students will be using both pens (black or blue ink only) and pencils.
Pencils or eraseable blue or black pens should be used on tests.
Students should also have the composition book that I gave them for this class along with a pencil.
Students are also working on their Celebration of Works notebooks in Eng. and Advisory. This is due in for grading on Monday.
