The Wind Ensemble is Columbia Junior High's premier band.  Members are selected by audition and are limited by instrumentation.  The Wind Ensemble has represented CJH at special school assemblies and community events.  The most active group next to the Jazz Band, they have been intivited to local and regional festivals, attaining superior ratings wherever they play.  The Wind Ensemble also takes a two day tour across the state, performing at a minimum of three public schools and a major university.
