Tessellations

These tessellations were created in my Geometry class, using either a slide or a rotational technique.  Each student started with the same shape.  The slide tessellations all started with a rectangle, and the rotational tessellations started with a hexagon.

Below are the top four finishers from both categories (slide and rotational) of tessellations from "Mr. Dodge's geometry art show".

The rotational tessellations are: Whales tales, Pretty and Mexico.

The slide tessellation is: breaking waves.
