Welcome to the third year of Columbia's poetry club! The club runs a school-wide poetry contest, writes new forms of poetry, and shares personal writings with each other.

This page will show our agendas each month, along with interesting links.

We meet on Wednesdays after school from 2:40-3:40 in Mrs. Aker's room, A210.

November: Introductions to different forms of poetry

January: Working on word choice, meter, and form for existing poems; free writing; discussing motivation, beginning poetry contest

March: Judging poetry contest entries; putting together poetry magazine...

May: Sales of poetry magazine
