Physical Science Syllabus: 2006-2007

(Click here for a downloadable copy)

This is a year-long class roughly covering the topics of chemistry and physics.  This course is intended to meet Washington State science requirements leading up to the 10th grade science WASL.  This should be considered a rough guideline of what will be covered, and certain topics may be added or deleted time permitting.

This course uses the Holt Science Spectrum textbook for physical science.  Students may check out a copy of this textbook from the library, use the class set of textbooks while at school, or access the online version of the textbook on an Internet connection.

For additional help beyond the classroom and textbook, students are encouraged to visit the physical science link page that Mrs. Aker has put together.  These links are good for both remedial help and for advanced topics.
