Details: Create a poster
You must have the following on your poster, the title , author, a picture of the main character and orginal cover drawing, one page summary of the story. You will then do a 3 to five minute presentation about your poster and the story. Good Luck this is worth 200 points like two test grades!

 Basic Math: there will be homework several times a week; however you should be working on math at home.how? Practice your multiplication facts. Use fractions for example in cooking, double the recipe! Go shopping estimate how much you are spending and how much change you should get back. measurement; figure out the family's car gas mileage for the week, the month the year...take a walk in your neighborhoood how many yards is it around the block, remember 1 giant step equals 1 yard, how many feet is that.Do these activities and do a little write up , hand in for extra credit!

Basic English
Book Reports: Due June 10th .Your Choice.The final book of the year is to read a book of your choice. It must be at your reading level and one that you have not read before.
The book report will be a poster about the book. You will present this in class. You have been given a copy of the requirements which and your parents need to sign and turn in,
You should be reading nightly,you can't become a better ball player without practice, you can't become a better reader without practice either!!!

Attention all math students
Math in Action
We will be taking two field trips in June . You have to have a signed permission slip. I will hand them out and they are due before June 5th.We will be walking to Dairy Queen, yes you will need to bring money if you want to buy something. We will be working on measurement, distance and credit and debit. this field trip will be your final grade in credit and debits and part of your final grade in measurement. The Dream room project is underway. You have homework over the long weekend sorry.
