New 2008-09 Immunization requirements
Kindergarten
- Varicella (Chickenpox) —
Kindergarten students are required to have two doses at least one month apart, provided both doses are given after the age of one year.
- Parent report of disease is NOT allowed for kindergarten students unless it is verified by the child's health care provider.

Two vaccines have been added to the required vaccination list for 6th grade.
They are Varicella (chickenpox) and Tdap.
Varicella (Chickenpox):
- if your child has had either: the vaccine or came down with chickenpox, then they have immunity to varicella. We will accept a parent report of a student having had chicken pox.
Tdap (tetanus, diptheria and pertussis):
- The Tdap vaccine is required for all children aged 11 years and older and for those children who's tetanus is more than 5 years old on the day school starts for 6th grade.
