Instructional Technology Standards and Research

The International Society for Technology in Education is the home for the US National Standards for Technology.  This includes standards for students, teachers, and administrators.  Fife School District is aligned to ISTE Standards.

Susan is an ISTE author.  She is SLMS's mentor for the HP Technology Grant and has done a workshop for Fife.

  What Works Clearinghouse collects, screens, and identifies studies of effectiveness of educational interventions (programs, products, practices and policies) based on scientific evidence.  Site contains middle school math curricula research.
  Resources for educators who are involved or interested in Webquests
   This is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth.
  eMINTS - enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies - transforms classrooms into places for learning where teachers and students use multimedia tools to better understand the world, work together and achieve at new and higher levels.
  Early Connections provides a basic understanding of young children's learning development, then connects technology to those essential learning skills. The primary focus is on how and when technology best fits into the learning of young children.
