FIFE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 417 MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2004

MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING BOARD ROOM

CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Board of Directors of Fife School District No. 417 was called to order at 6:07 p.m. by President Sutherland. Four board members were present, therefore, a quorum was verified.

ATTENDANCE Board members present were Larson, Wolfrom, Sutherland, and Scheidt. Administrator present was Steve McCammon. Recording Secretary Heidi Joyner was present.

BOARD INTERVIEW The school board members interviewed Bruce Burnside for the opening on the board for position #5 vacated by Rob Rueber.

EXECUTIVE SESSION 6:39 p.m. - to evaluate the qualifications of the candidate for the position.

RECONVENE REGULAR SESSION 7:19 p.m.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW By roll call vote, the school board unanimously appointed Bruce

BOARD MEMBER Burnside to the position #5 vacancy on the board of directors.

ADJOURNMENT At 7:20 p.m. there being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
