Marc Chagall was a Russian painter who, despite a life full of hardship, kept a positive and somewhat quirky view of life. He often painted floating and flying figures in his scenes of Russian villages or the city of Paris. The second graders learned about his life and his painting style as we incorporated our knowledge of landscapes into these fun cut and glue collages.
