La Casa Azul

Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, spent most of her life in the same home outside of Mexico City.  As an adult, she and her husband (artist Diego Rivera) moved into her childhood home.  They gave it their creative style as they painted it blue and filled it with exotic pets and artistic decor.  The third grade artists of Endeavour worked on their drawing skills by sketching buildings, trees, plants, animals, etc. that they later used in their own representation of "La Casa Azul."

The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to,

and I paint whatever passes through my head without any other consideration.”
