Flower Paintings in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe by the 4th grade Artists "Whether the flower or the color is the focus I do not know. I do know the flower is painted large to convey my experience with the flower – and what is my experience if it is not the color?" Georgia O'Keeffe
Georgia O'Keeffe was a painter who definitely knew how to blend her colors. The fourth graders completed their first project of the year by concentrating on drawing a large, close-up view of a flower. We then painted the backgrounds and flowers while trying to show value (darks, mediums and lights) in our paint.
