Georgia O'Keeffe Flower Collages

using Big, Medium, and Small

We started this project by finding objects in the Art Room that are big- the tables, the counters, the sink...  Then, things that are small-an eraser, the other sink, a paint brush...   This helped us later when we need to choose the right size for our flower petals.  We found the center of our background paper and tried to put the points to the petals on the dot we made in the middle. We choose our own colors and glued the flowers working from big to medium to small.  Finally, we covered our dot in the center with a circle of cut paper.  Our beautiful flowers would make the artist Georgia O'Keeffe very proud.
