Painted Picasso Portraits

by the Third Graders at Endeavour

After an introduction to the famous artist Pablo Picasso, the third graders spent some time sketching portraits.  We examined faces from the front and also the side before we let our creativity go crazy! They filled their space with a large drawing that showed both views of the human face.  Picasso would have been proud of the mixed up portraits that they invented!  We studied color theory as we painted our works of art.  Fantastic!
