Contour Drawing and Pablo Picasso

Contour drawing means paying close attention to the edges of objects. Blind Contour Drawing means that you can’t look at your paper while you draw! We really worked on drawing what we could see, but not what we knew. This was really hard because our drawings looked so weird!!!

We drew Picasso's portrait from many perspectives. Sometimes the front view, sometimes the profile, top, bottom, young, old, etc. This helped us to understand what Picasso accomplished during his Cubist period.
