Mrs. Winkelman

Hello, my name is Erin Winkelman and I teach 5 th grade at Endeavour Intermediate School . This is my 8 th year working in Fife and I really enjoy being a part of the Fife school district and community.

Teaching is my second career. My first was in archaeology and forensic anthropology. I spent several years doing fieldwork in many different states, including Washington , Idaho , Montana , Arizona , New Mexico , Nevada , and Utah . I left the field in the fall of 1998 to pursue a teaching career.

You may have noticed a name change.  That's right!  I got married this summer to a wonderful man named Ken Winkelman and we are very happy.  We live in a little house with 3 cats and 2 fish.  My step-daughter, Hannah, joins us on the weekends and we always have fun together.

I am still in the process of changing/updating my name.  PLease be patient as I make the transition from Ms. Driskell to Mrs. Winkelman.  For email purposes, the district still recognizes my maiden name.
