P.E. Expectations: As you may already know physical education is an important part of your child's education. One of the areas your child will be graded is participation, respect, and effort. In order to be safe, successful and build skills they should wear appropriate attire on the days they attend physical education. Your child should wear tennis shoes or rubber soled shoes with laces, Velcro, elastic or zippers. Students need to wear pants or shorts that are easy to move in. Slippery-soled shoes, slip-ons, heeled shoes, sandals, and flip flops are a safety hazard in physical education and will not be allowed. Heelys are not permitted unless the wheels are off and the cover is on the bottom of the shoes. The students will be graded as to whether they are wearing the correct clothing.
