Class Expectations
What are the classroom expectations? Respect each other, our property, and our school. Allow everyone the chance to learn. Cooperate with each other. DO YOUR BEST!
What are the classroom rules? Follow directions the first time. Keep your hands feet and other objects to yourself. Respect everyone.
What are the Endeavour rules against bullying? We will not bully other students. We will help other students who are bullied. We will include others who are easily left out. We will report bullying to an adult at school and at home.
What are the discipline procedures? * Each student has a right to learn in a safe and respectful environment. If a student impedes upon other students' right to this environment, a 4 step/color chart will record each child's progress for the day. The chart will be used in the following way: Green card = The student is doing a great job. Keep up the positive behavior. Yellow card = Warning! This is a warning to the student that his/her behavior is unacceptable. The student will owe 5 minutes at the next recess. Red card = Stop and think! The student will lose the next recess. Purple card = The student's behavior has become a disruption to the learning environment. He/she will be removed from the class and be placed in the office or in a buddy classroom. He or she may also receive a formal "white slip" written for the behavior to the office.
*The teacher reserve the right to skip behavior steps in cases of severe disruption or unsafe situations. |
