Homework Policy

Approximately 30-50 minutes should be set aside each day for homework Monday through Thursday. Each student will be expected to fill out their daily student planner agenda every day. This will be due on Monday for credit. Each student should record daily independent reading at the bottom of their agenda. All students are expected to read 20 minutes a night and record their efforts (100 minutes for the week). This should be signed weekly by a parent. (Due also on Monday). Please check your student's agenda on a daily basis for assignments. I will send out one official progress report during the month that needs to be signed and returned. Assignments are expected to be completed on time. Late assignments are discouraged and will be marked down. Illness is an exception to the rule. Students are expected to check in with me upon returning from an illness.
