In this chapter students will learn to:

use strategies to add or subtract to 20.
relate addition to subtraction and use one to check the other.
find missing numbers in addition and subtraction sentences.

added facts to 20
subtracted facts to 20

In this Chapter Students will learn to:

use the strategies count on and count back to add or subtract to 12
relate addition to subtraction and use one to check the other
use fact families

Beyond this chapter students will learn:

strategies to add and subtract to 20
add and subtract 2-, 3-, an 4-digit numbers

We are working on number sense, utilizing the hundred chart, and the number line up to 100. We are learning skip-counting with 2's, 3's, and 5's.
