| Last week the FHS Vocal Jazz group and the Jazz Band traveled to the Clackamas College Jazz Festival in Oregon City, OR. Both groups gave outstanding performances! On Thursday, 30 choirs performed and our Vocal Jazz students won 1st place in their division. Friday and Saturday over 60 jazz bands competed in the festival. Saturday evening our band won 1st place in their division. Roman Gavrishov, Tyler Schilperoort, Ben Sutherland and JunHo Lee all received Outstanding Musician awards. |
