Coach Jones Comments on the Game
November 27th: Both teams won against Klahowya by large margins (58-27 varsity). Cami Lubereski and Shelly Kilcup led the Lady Trojans in scoring. Ashley Coley's distribution of the ball and spearheading our defensive pressure that lead to easy scores.
The Lady Trojans came up short against the Vashon Pirates 51-32 to even out our overall record to 1-1. After starting out a little flat, the Trojans attacked the offensive glass to narrow the margin to 9 before half-time, but the sharp shooting Pirates of Vashon charged back during the 3rd to build back up their lead. Outstanding defensive performances by Cami Lubereski and Ryann Waldman limited the Pirates to only 3 points in the 4th quarter. Next up? Saturday we travel to Kingston High School to take on the Buccaneers.

Monday night your Lady Trojans were victorious over the Cardinals of Franklin Pierce 47-41. Ashley Coley led all scorers with 13 points. Shelly Kilcup chipped in 10 points while Marissa Poole and Chaslynn Aumoeualogo added in 8 points each.
Lakes:
The Lady Trojans hung in with #3 ranked 3A Lakes Lancers in the first half of play, but the Lady Lancers flexed their muscle in the second half defeit the Trojans 71-36. Shelly Kilcup led the Trojans with 14 points while Chaslynn Aumoeualogo added 8 strong points in the paint. Next up, Cascade Christian.
Cascade Christian:
On Saturday, the Lady Trojans received their 3rd victory of the season by beating Cascade Christian 48-37. With a stifling defense, the Crusaders barely managed 2 points in the first quarter. With a depleted bench, the Lady Trojans preserved the win by properly executed the offense down the stretch run. Shelly Kilcup led all scorers with 21 points. Ryann Waldman had another strong performance on defense and had 10 points, while Ashley Coley added in 9 points. Our next game with be against Rainier this coming Wednesday at Home.
Rainier:
Last night our lady Trojans beat Rainier High School 54-47 to improve our overall record to 4-2. Ashley Coley scored 20 points, Shelly Kilcup had 9, while Cami Lubereski and Chaslynn Aumoeualogo added in 8. The ladies showed a ton of growth in the victory with improved execution, both defensively and offensively, hitting critical free-throws during crunch time, and improved bench play with an outstanding contribution from Shelby Hutton. RA Long comes to play us this Saturday and should be another good test for us.
