3/31 Fife went on the road monday to face rival steilacoom.  Fife came out on top 3-0 against the sentinals. Stadelman pitched a fantastic game shutting down steilcoom to only 2 hits and no runs. The game started out promising for Fife but the ladies just couldn't push across a run. We stranded 7 baserunners in the 1st 3 innings. In the 4th we had the bases loaded with no outs. We tried a squeeze play with no success, had a pop-out. Then Amanda Roselli came up with a big 2 out double to score 2. Fife added one more in the 5th and that was all we needed. Kristina struck out 6 in the last 3 innings to make a total of 11 on the game. Fife had some outstanding defense from Kilcup (2b) and Faust (1b). Kirsten Schumacher (C) went 2 for 2 and was on base 4 times. This game had a district level feel to it and we played a nearly flawless game. We'll need that same effort again on weds which will be against Steilacoom again.  Final Score Fife 3 Steilacoom 0

4-2  The Lady Trojans won a big game against steilacoom in a night game at Columbia JH. The game had huge league implications and both teams played like it. In the 5th the sentinals scored one on 2 hits. Kristina shut down their 1-2-3 hitters in the 6th only to have the bases loaded in the seventh and only scoring one to finish the game. 4-14 Rain - Makeup game tomorrow

4-16 Fife played a league night game at Columbia and it turned out to be "lights out" for the Foster bulldogs. Fife dominated the game with superior pitching and hitting in a 17-0 win. Senior Left Fielder Karrisa Haelle hit a home run and scored 3 runs. Sammy went  2-4 with 2 triples. Roselli scored 3 runs going 2-4 and was "robbed" of a sure homerun on a spectacular catch by their centerfielder

4-16 Fife finally played played league opponent Washington. It was decided to play a doubleheader to makeup a previous game. These games turned out to have huge implications in the league standings due to Washingtons defeat of Steilacoom 3 days earlier.  The lady trojans didn't dissapoint. In game 1, we came out with 3 runs in the 1st inning, thanks to a homerun by junior centerfielder Amanda Roselli. Fife followed up with 3 more in the 3rd and the 4th. Stadelman again showed why she is a player to watch with another strong effort. Junior 1st baseman Sammy Faust went 3-3 and had 3 runs, Kristina had 2 key kits as Fife pounded out 14 hits to gather a 11-0 victory. Tessa Wagner came in to pitch the 5th and 6th inning to seal the deal.    Final Score Fife 11 Washington 0

4-16 Game 2 was quite a different story as the Patriots had to win to make any chance of a league title. Fife ended up winning 2-0 on another strong effort by Stadelman. Kristina pitched 7 shutout innings and had 2 critical sacrifice bunts to move leadoff  hitter Gran into scoring position. Clutch hits by Sammy Faust in the 1st and Amanda Roselli in the 6th led to the 2 runs. We again showed a good defensive effort on the day (2 games) with outstanding play by 3rd baseman Amy Gran, 2nd baseman Shelly Kilcup, OF Karissa Haelle. 2 great defensive plays (in critical time) included a diving foul ball catch by Faust and a great "against the backstop" catch by senior catcher Kirsten Schumacher. 4-21 Non League home game with (1A) Orting proved to be another stepping stone to a successful season. The lady trojans came out with the ideal 1st inning. 3rd baseman Gran slapped a hit to left and following a passed ball, Stadelman sacrifice bunted her over to third with only 1 out where she scored on a misplay at 2nd base. A classic case of manufacturing a run. The cardinals pitcher shut us down in the 2nd and 3rd, of which we left the bases loaded in both innings. Fife busted the game open in the 4th with 5 runs on 4 consecutive hits by our 3-4-5-6 hitters. Stadelman had ortings number with her great control only allowing 1 baserunner 4 innings. 4-22 Ready to get on the bus to go to Washington only to find out they goofed up the reschedule again. No game today. Next game Fri (4/25) at Steilacoom

4-25 For the 1st time all spring we played a game in good weather. The 3rd meeting at Steilacoom turned out to be just what everyone expected. Fife came out on top with a 2-1 win on solid defense and a gutsy pitching performance by sophomore Tessa Wagner. The sentinals came out and scored 1 unearned run in the 1st using their typical small ball game. Fife looked flat in the 1st two innings and finally got things going in the 3rd when senior SS Jessica Maden reached 1st on an error. Gran got a hard single followed up by Stadelman hitting a rbi single. In the bottom of the 3rd Wagner settled into a groove  as she only allowed 1 hit over the next 3 innings. In the 5th with 2 out and nobody on, leadoff  hitter Gran roped a triple and scored on a bad throw at third. Steilacoom had 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs in the 6th but Wagner shut them down for no runs. Wagner had 8 k's in a nice league game win. Fife had seven hits but struck out 8 times also. We'll have to pick up our hitting if we're going to be successful in districts against the tough olympic division. Next game will be a night home game on monday against eatonville. It will be "senior day". Stay tuned Final Score Fife 2 Steilacoom 1

4-30  We traveled to eatonville and we were back to our normal cold, rain, wind, hail type of game. Even the weather gods couldn't help the cruisers as fife went back to dominating with a 11-0 win. Stadelman had a perfect game going midway through the fourth when she gave up an infield single. Fife had trouble adjusting to a slower pitcher but the second time through the lineup they scored 5 runs capped off by a bases loaded triple by cacther Schumacher. Stadleman and Roselli had doubles in the game. Final Score Fife 11 Eatonville 0

5-2  We travel to make up a rainout game with foster. We brought the entire JV team and gave our seniors the day off. (prom preperation). Fife started out slow again (lets hope this isn't a trend) Junior Allison Beardsley started pitching and gave a run in the 1st and one in the 3rd, they had a few bloop hits and a couple of stolen bases. Fife was only leading 5-2 in the top of 4th when there hitting started taking over. Sammy Faust hit a triple, Colburn had 2 hits as well as Ducshel and Poole on the day. Next game is wednesday at Fife against orting. Final Score Fife 15 Foster 2

5-7  Due to a scheduling issue at Orting, this game was played at Fife. The weather was yet again cold, and windy. This game turned out to be another dominating pitching performance by Stadelman.
