SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS, NON-RESIDENT STUDENTS, AND SUSPENDED/EXPELLED STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A PRE-REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AS LISTED BELOW:

Special Education Students

Students receiving Special Education services in their previous district need to:

  • provide  FHS with a copy of their latest IEP
  • have records release form signed by parent/guardian

Failure to provide this information may delay your student’s enrollment.

Out of District Students

Obtain a “Release of Attendance” from your resident district.  Also include a current report card or transcript, your student’s attendance profile, discipline file, and a “Non-Resident Student Transfer Request” (from the Fife School District office).  All questions should be directed to Jeff Short, Deputy Superintendent, or Janci Basham @ 253-517-1000.  Registration procedures will begin only after notification of acceptance from the Fife School District office has been received by the registrar.

Suspended/Expelled Students

As a general rule, students who are currently expelled or long term suspended from another school district must complete the conditions of their suspension or expulsion prior to being admitted to the Fife School District.

Thank you for your assistance in gathering the materials we need to ensure the correct academic placement, health and welfare of your student. Once all is in place, the counselors can create a schedule for your student.
