The
purpose of this course is to prepare students to take the
MOS Core and Expert level industry certification examinations.
Computer skills are needed in almost every occupation.
This course provides students with an opportunity to learn
the Microsoft applications that are found in the business
world. Students will be working independently at their level
to learn: CORE
Word and Excel or Expert Word and Excel or Access or PowerPoint
concepts that will prepare them for industry certification.
Computer
assignments must be done in class. Efficient use of class
time is absolutely necessary. Productions and projects will
be required in the assessment process. Students will be required
to demonstrate 85% skill attainment on the simulated MOS Exam.

end of semester.

will earn points in each of these areas: Assessments, tutorials,
