Course
Description
Students
will learn how marketing is incorporated into all aspects
of business. Students will be provided the training and opportunities
to test their creative business ideas in a controlled environment.
They will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the areas
of business ownership, management, ethics, legal issues and
a variety of knowledge necessary to establish and maintain
a business entity. Students will learn how the E-Commerce
plays a role in business.
Students
will learn the following: 1) how to plan a business; 2) what
E-Commerce is and how it affects the business world; 3) the
principles of starting a business; 4) the 4 P's (pricing,
promotion, product, and placement) of marketing; and 5) the
principles of managing a business.
Course
Requirements
- Complete
a variety of projects in the following areas: Marketing
Research, Advertising, Free Enterprise, Public Relations,
Civic Consciousness, and E-Commerce.
