Cinnamon Rolls Day One and Two

Cinnamon is the dried inner bark of various evergreen trees

                   belonging to the genus Cinnamomum.

At harvest, the bark is stripped off and put in the sun,

where it curls into the familiar form called "quills."

The students have entered the breads portion of their culinary arts instruction,

and the first part of the week they made cinnamon rolls.

The students made the dough from scratch on day one.

On day two the students assembled the rolls and made the cream cheese frosting.
