2006 National Student Television Academy Awards

On June 2nd, 2006 Fife High School's Trojan TV was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Northwest Chapter (NATAS) for outstanding television journalism by high school students.    Fife High School students were awarded six honorable mentions, the most of any school in the nation.   The awards are part of the National Student Television program, which encourages and supports journalism skill.  Fife High School students won awards in the following categories:

As a result of Fife High School's achievments this year two of

our NTSA award winners, Zach Macintyre and Chris Parker (pictured below) were

chosen to represent Fife High School at to the Reginal Emmy Awards held

on June 3rd, 2006.  Catherine Carbone-Rogers (picture below) recognized Fife High School

Broadcasting students at the event for their outstanding achievements in student television.
