Let's talk about what people can be working on and if you have nothing to do and want to recieve points towards you grade you need be doing something to increase your skills. Not on a project today...do the following -

Go to 'Planet Photoshop Tutorials and work on a few.  End of class I will ask people what they did and if you can't verify you learned anything new or were truly engaged in a project...no points for the day!

*Amber Brady - Begin importing Drama Footage from this weekends play.  Ask Ryan (Schelbert's Aide) to assist you with putting something together.  There is a song they sang as a group in the play I want to use as the soundtrack for drama.  Nathanial Markwith also has some behind the scenes footage he filmed.

*Alex - Graduation Version of Senior Video...want to talk with you a bit more about how this will flow and end.

Go to 'Planet Photoshop Tutorials - Do the 'Borders Under a Minute' tutorial.  Find a photo on the web of decent size and quality and apply this efffect to it. Save in a folder in Class Three Called 5-12 Photoshop Tutorial.  Save it as your name.

Pretty much same as yesterday.  Some of you are working on individual things. 

Let's talk about what others should be doing today.  Have some ideas.

Would like to do some camera certification work for some of you.

I will be absent tomorrow for my 4 year follow up tests at SCCA in Seattle. Mrs. Curtice will be my subsitute.

Except for Senior Video, I do not want to check out cameras.

Bell Assignment -  Clean your area thoroughly.  Don't just fake it...really clean it.  Thank you.

Bell Assignment - Please Read -

Malorie, Kirsten, Nathanial, Kevin, Davis.....help our guest teacher and be sure everything used is checked back in properly and room is left in perfect conditon.  Everything from tapes to cameras to batteries.  Take extra care today.  Do not let class go until you guys clear them to go.   Remind guest teacher to always lock everything down.

PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE TO PUT AWAY WHAT YOU USE AND HELP EACH OTHER WHEN NEEDED.  DON'T LEAVE ROOM A MESS.

PREFER NOBODY IN SHACK UNLESS IT IS TO FILM.  KEEP IT CLEAN...I JUST CLEANED IT YESTERDAY.

EVERYONE FILMING NEEDS TO PAY BETTER ATTENTION TO WHITE BALANCE AND LIGHTING!  ESPECIALLY SENIOR VIDEO & TTV FILMERS.

I am at SCCA in Seattle today getting tests done for my four year transplant follow up visit.  For obvious reasons I need to limit access to equipment in the back room and out of class production. 

Senior Video crew can utilize time to work today but must go through aides to get gear.

Jordan - I need you and some other music people to brainstorm a cool idea we can do with the music section of the Senior Video and you need to help set the filming of it up with Sorensen.  Very important for this to be moving along very soon.

I am allowing access to equipment today to Davis or Kevin for Senior Video filming and Jordan Lewis for Trojan TV filming.  (Talk to Marlorie about what tapes to be using for stories.) The only students I want in back room are Nathanial or Malorie and it imperitive they both keep track of anything checked out and do not allow class to be dismissed until the all clear is given on equipment check in and that the room is in order.  If Sina needs to check out gear for the staff section she may, but needs to go through Nathanial or Malorie.  Nobody else in back room.  Individual students helping film outside of class with the above students MUST sign out on clipbaord and everyone keeps our guest teacher aware of what you are working on and where.  Do not take advantage of the guest teacher.  Be courteous, kind, and respectful AND HELPFUL.

I want the rest of the class not working on Senior Video or TTV stuff to do the following and it wil be graded and worth 25 points just to motivate you to do it. 

'Planet Photoshop Tutorial. Save it so you can show it to me tomorrow for points. Save in class one server in a new folder called 5-14 Class One folder under a folder called P3.  Two if you can do it.

Open up iLivetype and make some cool titles. It's pretty intuitive and you can click on the Help Menu for guidance.  There are also tutorials online.  Just search for them in goodle.  Fun program.  When done you can PLACE movie in a folder you create as a .mov file and import into FCP.  Do find a way to save what you do so you can have something to verify you did something productive today.

Aides be sure room is secure and locked before everyone leaves.

Major Senior Video Filming to Happen TODAY!!  LET'S ASSIGN PEOPLE!
