5th Grade Paintings

in the style of

Marc Chagall

The 5th graders' imaginations went wild when they were presented with the assignment to create a Chagall-style painting.  Chagall's playful and quirky style is shown in the students' work.  They included creatures and people floating and flying through the sky.  Proportion was forgotten as they exaggerated their size and scale.  They used tempera paint to complete their pencil sketches and were vigilant in their painting technique.
