Library Hours and Schedule
|
- The library is open between 9:00 am and 3:25 pm on all school days.
- Students may check out books EVERY morning until class begins at 9:15.
- Student Library Helpers may come in to work daily before school or during their lunch recess.
- Each class is scheduled for a 40-minute period every 3 days for 2nd and 3rd grades and every 4 days for 4th and 5th grades for book check out and library lessons.

Book Check Out Policy
- Students in grades 2-3 may check out 1 book at a time.
- Students in grades 4-5 may check out 2 books at a time.
- When a student checks out a book it is his/her responsibility to return it on time and in good condition. Fines will be charged for lost or damaged materials.
- All books are checked out for 1 week. Books may be renewed unless wanted or needed by another student or teacher. There are no fines for overdue books, but a student may not check out any new material until overdue items are returned, replaced, or as a last resort, paid for in the school office.
