Paul Owen Lewis Visits Hedden!

On Wednesday, May 10th, the students and staff of Hedden Elementary had the opportunity to meet the award-winning author, illustrator, and speaker Paul Owen Lewis.  The day began with an all-school assembly. Students and staff found out where an author's ideas come from and how we can become writers and dreamers ourselves!  After several classroom visits and a book signing time, Mr. Lewis ended the day with two different assemblies; one for second and third graders and one for fourth and fifth graders.  We had an excellent day and can hardly wait to create more fabulous writing and artwork of our own!
