Each spring our PTA takes time to reflect back on all the wonderful volunteers and people who influence and work with the students at Hedden Elementary.
We have a special PTA meeting in May to recognize at least of few of these outstanding individuals -- this is when we award the Golden Acorn and Volunteer of the Year awards.

Hedden PTA started its process last month of filling our four executive board and twenty committee chair positions for next school year. We want to say a big THANK YOU to the many parents and teachers who stepped up to fill so many of the positions. You are what helps make Hedden such a great place for our kids to learn and grow!
The positions that still need chairs are Book Fair (needs co-chair), Fundraiser, Historian, Newsletters, and Yearbook. If you have a friend you’d like to co-chair with please do! Part of the strength of our programs is having new people and new ideas. Most programs have a notebook for guidance and there is much support to all chairs in our PTA. We encourage you to consider these vacancies!
