Follow teacher directions the first time they are given.

Raise your hand & wait to be called upon before you use your
voice.

Assertive Discipline - Stoplight Ticket System
-
Everyone begins each day with
GREEN
showing.
- If
a class rule is broken, the green ticket
is removed and a YELLOW
ticket shows in the pocket.
- If
another behavior problem occurs that day, the color will change
to RED
and the student will loose
5 minutes of
recess.
- If
the red ticket is lost the student will lose 1whole recess
and also complete a form explaining the
inappropriate behavior and
how they plan to correct the problem. These forms are sent home
to
parents to
be signed and returned.
- If
another problem occurs after the loss of all tickets,
it results in a trip to the office.
- At
the
end of each day, everyone goes back to green.
For
each day of "Terrific" behavior, students receive a sticker
on the behavior chart, which will be sent home
at the end of the month.
*End of the day page behavior boxes will help keep
you informed of daily classroom behavior.
Stayed on green = Terrific
Lost one ticket = Good
Lost 2 tickets (5 minutes of recess) =
Could use improvement
Lost all 3 tickets ( 1 whole recess) =
Could use improvement
