Ms. Gerdes

Hello. My name is Laura Gerdes.  This is my sixth year teaching fifth graders at Hedden Elementary and my fourteenth year teaching.  Over the years I've taught second through fifth graders and classes for highly capable students in the Eatonville, Highline, and Fife School Districts.  Fife fifth graders are the best!

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and an Elementary Teaching Creditial from the University of Washington in Seattle and a Masters Degree in Computer Education from Gonzaga University in Spokane.

When I'm not in the classroom with my kids, I love playing tennis, walking, spending quality time with my cats, and working on projects around my soon to be 100 year old house.
