Listening to the song 'Trust in You' by the Christian artist, Jeremy Camp. I received this CD from a friend at work, Tina Gradin. Thanks Tina. I don't think the timing could have been better to hear this song. God has amazing timing.

The stress of everything has been on the heavy side lately and this morning I received a call from my transplant coordinator that they will have to delay transplant until an insurance appeal is complete. Hopefully the appeal will result in approval of my procedure. If not? Well, I won't consider 'no' to be an option. As the song says, I will trust God will make everything work out.

Due to the insurance problems, doctors are moving my transplant dates back. Assuming I get insurance approval, I will now start my transplant work up on April 13th and receive the donor marrow on May 4th. In a way, this is actually a good thing. I had one of the best responses I've ever had after my last chemo treatment. My counts are excellent right now. Another treatment should actually further reduce the amount of active leukemia cells in my body, which may improve my chances of a successful transplant. I choose to believe God is allowing these insurance delays so I can be in even better condition going into the transplant.

As I finish this letter I've had the opportunity to listen to some more songs on the Jeremy Camp, Carried Me, CD. This is an incredible album.

The lyrics from the song 'Carried Me' really hit me:

Jesus you have carried me
When I could not stand
Jesus You have carried me
It's all been part of your plan

Jesus you have carried me
It's your footprints in the sand
Jesus you have carried me
It was always in your hands

Just a closing thought. If one of your children ever ask you to play with them, stop what you are doing and go play. You'll be glad you did and so will they.

Thanks for your prayers.
