John is fighting a tough virus right now at Good Samaritan hospital. He's been having symptoms of fatigue and some confusion. He's hoping to be able to have the medicine clear this up, and get back on his feet as soon as possible. He has a couple of specific prayer requests:
-Prayers that this virus quickly and completely responds to treatment
-Prayers of support for Michelle and the boys
-Prayers of thanks for all the family and friends who have been in to see him and make these days easier
-Prayers of strength for John to face this challenge in a positive way, trusing in God's perfect plan for him
John says his goal is to maintain a positive attitude as he deals with these challenges despite the difficulties.
August 28 Update
John will be going home at some point today, and will have his medical treatment there. His symptoms remain the same, as do his prayer requests. At this time, the doctor is recommending that he not be left alone. Please check back for details on how individuals can help with this requirement.
