Endeavour Students Teach a Lesson on Dam Building

Superintendent Dr. Steve McCammon and School Board President Rex Sutherland learn about dam building from Mrs. Sawers' class at a recent school board meeting

Brandon M., David T., Katherine L., Patsy R., and Ille B., from Mrs. Sawers' 4th grade class, enjoyed informing the school board on how they could control the flow of water by building a dam.

Given selected materials from their "Land and Water" science unit, students used concepts learned from prior investigations of how water has an important role in shaping land, to predict where their dam should be built.

For more information, contact Linda Sawers or Principal Jody Hess.
